President’s Message

Guided by the timeless spirit of “Charaibeti”—the call to "keep on moving" echoed by the great sage Vyasadeva — we begin our humble journey from a remote and underdeveloped land, driven by the belief that even a small initiative can spark lasting change.

Over the years, several of our grassroots projects have shown encouraging results, creating real change and earning the trust of the communities we serve.

We warmly invite your support — through donations, contributions, or collaboration — to help us expand our reach and deepen our impact in transforming lives.

With love and regards,                                                                                                                               Mrinal Kanti Bhuin

Thrust Areas of Our Work

  • Education and Capacity Building

  • Support for the Underprivileged

  • Sustainable Agriculture

  • Sports, Yoga and Meditation

  • Ethnic and Tribal Culture

  • Social Entrepreneurship

  • Research Works

Our educational program takes up two facets – train the youths for capacity building, and educate the families for social empowerment. Training programs are designed enhancing skills, knowledge and abilities so that they can lead a sustainable livelihood applying science, technology and management. Educational program contains health and hygiene practice, environmental awareness, biodiversity, value education, human rights and life-style management.

We have framed out our mission of sustainable agriculture in six areas of agriculture production - fruits and vegetable, fisheries, mushroom, vermicompost, medicinal plants and livestock. The project aims at producing healthy, organic and bio-friendly products, providing hands-on training to local youths and farmers, and generating employment for unskilled workers.

Support to Deprived and Underprivileged

We extend our support and aids to the distressed and underprivileged rural people, mainly scheduled castes and tribes, accessing means and basic needs of their livelihood. Our activities include providing nutritious food, clothes, legal aids; supporting educational, health and social needs; and fostering communal and social harmony, peace and tranquillity.

We organise and promote yoga, meditation and sports to encourage local children and youths to develop a healthy lifestyle, sporting attitude and fraternity. Our yoga and meditation centre along with the specific camps throughout the year encourage the aspirants to learn, practice, spread out the benefits.

Our goal is to preserve, develop and promote ethnic, folk and tribal cultural heritage of the locality, like, Santali Dance, Balika Sangeet, Jhumoor, Chhou, Tusu, Bhaadu, Kathi-Nach, Baul etc. We foresee to establish a tribal cultural hub incorporating an information centre, an academy for training and research, and promoting the same across the globe.

The objective of imparting research works by the Trust is to understand ourselves better. Our research team focuses on crucial issues relating to the socio-economic-cultural aspects of the region. We undertake action research to identify, analyse and recommend policies on rural education, health, employment, livelihood, cultivation, water resource, technological intervention, social changes and culture.

Social entrepreneurship is the need of the hour. We welcome educated and capable youths to undertake social entrepreneurial activities as their means of livelihood. We have decided to extend financial support to social entrepreneurs with a priority on fulfilling local needs. You may apply for the Social Entrepreneurship Support Fund (SESF) for trust approval in the prescribed format.

Organisational Structure

The current Trust Organisational. Structure and Role Profiles are presented below:

The organisational structure is designed on a competency-based approach. The trustees operate as a team in achieving its objectives through the onus of each activity thrust upon the respective member. There remains flexibility in engagement and disengagement of members on the assigned responsibilities as part of the control system. Online as well as offline communication among the members has kept the workflow intense and temporal.

Apart from a periodical review of the planned activities, an annual appraisal is done, and objectives are revised accordingly. We have successfully developed a team of 14 volunteers who have come forward to take up the assigned responsibilities on demand. Due to strong coordination and team spirit, the Trust has accomplished the tasks without much trouble.
